  "Too bad their owner doesn't seem to care about customers." I was interested in trading or selling an item. When I responded that the trade proposed to me seemed very disproportionate, the reference links for the values were sent. For their item - a larger, recognized website, selling their used piece on the high end of the scale. For my item - a scam site with multiple red flags and no history, selling my item for a too-good-to-be-true low price. When I pointed this out and asked if he had ever actually purchased anything from the obviously bunk site, he responded smugly that he had not, because he purchases directly from the vendor. No negotiation or care was shown. I was dismissed at this point. This was strange and surprisingly poor customer service for a brick and mortar hifi shop. After all, customer service is what keeps these small businesses alive. Too bad their owner doesn't seem to care about customers. If you're looking to trade or even buy a whole new setup, their are other places in Chicagoland that actually care. Go there instead. (VanL Speakerworks, Pro Musica, Decibel, Saturday Audio, Holm Audio, you get the idea...)
